Hi, and welcome to my new look website!

Just a quick entry to update you on the exhibition where photos from my 'Inner Landscapes' project are being shown.

Inner Landscapes explores human emotions inspired by the Duino Elegies, which critics suggest is one of the 20th century's most beautiful poems.

The exhibition was opened opened on 7th April by one of the most highly decorated fellows from the Royal Photographic Society, Simon Street. Some of Simons work which he has been awarded distinctions for are on display.

The photos are exhibited alongside others members of the Richmond and Twickenham Photographic Society and the Royal Photographic Society’s Visual Art Group. In addition, pupils from St. Catherine’s School for Girls in Twickenham will also be showcasing their work.

Having spent some time at the exhibition (and you would expect me to say this) there is some stunning work on display. I think it's probably the best one to date as people have emerged from the pandemic and got busy with their cameras!

Anyway, I'll be at the centre on Saturday from 1.30pm till close to welcome and give a guided tour. I'll also be giving some 'how to look' tips taken from the workshop I'll be launching later in the summer.

This aims to help observers see that bit deeper and wider at the art they are viewing. To help retrain our eyes from the phone screens and constant scrolling on by.

So do drop me an email via the contact page if you are planning on coming. Entry is £3 adults with children free. As I've mentioned many times before, there are also some rather nice pubs within short walking distance from the venue.

Here's a link to the Landmark Arts Centre and how to get there etc etc.

The exhibition closes at 4pm on Sunday 16th April.

Hope to see you there.

ta ta for now.

Colin
